Remember That

From SnapChat To Scrapbook
Inspired by the rise of social media and SnapChat filters, Three Rivers’ signature Remember That program encourages residents to build photo album scrapbooks to commemorate treasured memories.
Whether it was a trip to the local zoo with the grandchildren or a screenshot of a friend using a SnapChat filter for the first time, Scrapbooking is one way for our residents to capture, celebrate, and remember joyous moments in time.

Scrapbooking is a fun and easy activity for all residents to enjoy, even those with cognitive or physical limitations. Scrapbooking can also be used as a therapeutic tool for those with memory loss by offering comfort, familiarity, and a sense of community support.

Our residents love to tell their story through photos and share the completed albums with friends and family. The act of storytelling and reminiscing creates meaningful social connections, improves well-being, and supports memory. Scrapbooking takes place at least once a month.
